As a part of his state-of-the-state
speech, Governor Taft announced a new research proposal initiative that is
designed to promote the development of
high-technology and high-wage jobs. By accomplishing this, Governor Taft
believes the proposal will fuel local economic growth and provide stable employment
opportunities across the state of Ohio. To highlight the emphasis on
technology, Governor Taft scheduled a visit to the Entrepreneurs Center. This center houses over 20 start up businesses.
As a managing partner of Quantrum, one of the businesses based out of The
Entrepreneurs Center, Joanne Allswede was given the opportunity to meet the Governor
and demonstrate how this company functions.
As an emerging business in the
field of Information Technology throughout the Dayton area, Governor Taft was
impressed by Quantrum’s commitment to establish itself as a leader in the
industry and looks forward to future ventures with Quantrum.
